"THE ROGUE" FLORA MATAKANA 2010 750ml A SPECIAL WINE Critically acclaimed vintages were previously labelled Pinot Gris, grown from cuttings of a rare and forgotten clone sourced from two original mother vines. However, recent DNA testing in California revealed the vines to be an exceptionally rare variety called Flora, almost indistinguishable to look at. The mother vines were rogue vines – hence "The Rogue". AROMAS & FLAVOURS Pear drops, lychees, spice and rose petal. MOUTHFEEL Off-dry, oily and medium bodied with a juicy, lingering finish.
