Fathers Day Special @ Ascension. Sunday 1st September

On Father's Day The Larder will be serving a special buffet in place of our normal format.

In addition we are hosting a comedy show with Gary McCormick, Mayor Tim Shadbolt along with some blues from Hammond Gamble.

From 12pm to 2pm we will be serving a delicious Father's Day buffet in The Larder. Limited availability.

Adults $45, children 14 & under $25. Reserved tables

Option 2 - Show only

General admission seating $45 (no concessions).

Doors open 2pm, show 2.30pm, concludes approx 4.30pm

The Best Option - Special Lunch & Show package (limited places available)

Includes the Father's Day Buffet + show + reserved seating in the area closest to the stage.

New Zealand’s longest serving living Mayor is taking his holidays with his old mate, Gary McCormick and blues legend Hammond Gamble.
All are veterans of the early days of summer rock festivals in the 1970s and early 1980s, McCormick having MC’d the Sweetwaters Rock festivals for three years in a row.
‘Tim and I used to meet up at the various stages around the site and read poems and tell stories,’ says McCormick. ‘Nothing much has changed except there are lots more stories and better jokes!’
