Enjoy a "Classic Kiwi Christmas" at Ascension...
One big advantage to having your Christmas function at Ascension is the huge lawn we have in front of the vines... you simply don't get that at most venues. You are welcome to use this space with our compliments for recreational activities, races and competitions - or just for fun!
Whether your organisation is inviting staff and children, or colleagues only, we provide equipment for the following Classic Kiwi Christmas activities entirely free of charge. All your guests need are a sense of humour, hat and sunscreen!
(We provide the equipment - we'll leave it to you to set it up and run it!)

Our Christmas venue is so close to Auckland!
Ascension is 4km through Warkworth and only 39 minutes from Auckland's harbour bridge. Conveniently located smack bang in the middle of Matakana Coast Wine Country - far enough from Auckland to make sure your Christmas function guests are nice and relaxed, but close enough to make sure no precious time is wasted.

If you are interested in a casual lunch for 40 guests or less (with no sign of ham or turkey!) please go to 'Group Lunches at The Larder'.
